We need Michael more than ever‼️ thank you Robert and Amelia for this brilliant piece on St. Michael, a particular favourite of mine as my son is in the Armed Forces as a Airforce Captain. For my birthday I bought myself a sterling silver pendant of St Michael as protection for my son, it’s a beautiful piece of art, handmade in Ukraine, by Orthodox Christians. I may post a picture of it today in honour of St Michael and the artist who made it. Cheers, Lauren
As a tradition ⛪️ in the Eastern Church, Mondays are dedicated ☦️🔥😌 to the remembrance of the Angels and our watchful guardians and helpers in the Heavenly Host. ⏳📯🕯️📿📖♥️📆🔔
>Every soul must face the personal Apocalypse of death and judgment.
And I can call on St Michael and the saints to help me always, as they are not bound by time & space! I’ve always known this, but as I grow spiritually in grace & Truth, there’s new awareness & application..
Y’all inspire me to reread the Great Battle in Heaven as Mary of Agreda tells it in her City of God. The first time I read it, it sounded very much like the splitting of the Church & the Liturgy Wars were having now. St. Michael, pray for us.
St. Michael’s day came along last year just as I reached 37 weeks with my 4th baby. I had been experiencing concerning contraction activity since 26 weeks. I was so thankful for the protection of my unborn baby and we have had a deeper connection with St. Michael ever since.
Thank you for sharing these wonderful reflections of such powerful art!
Yes Amelia! The same thing has happened for various reasons over the years, in the process of choosing patron saints and during struggles when I desperately needed support.
I'm reading this late, catching up on various e-mails, but that is a remarkable illustration. Thanks to you both for sharing it and helping us appreciate it.

God bless your son, Lauren. My husband is a marine and has a special devotion to Saint Michael as well.
That sounds beautiful! I’d love to see it.
May Saint Michael Bless and keep your husband safe, always. 🙏🙏

Happy Michaelmas!
I love the close up and description of the Angel of God looking down in sorrow against the fallen angel she is fighting. So beautiful

I love that story Katherine! It is so cool how our children can deepen our appreciation and relationships with the saints.
